Young children are natural and eager learners.

The Children's Enrichment Center (CEC) is a nonprofit, educational organization founded in 1972 as part of the mission of Oak Hills Presbyterian Church. We affirm religious and racial diversity. In addition, we adhere to NAEYC standards for professional conduct and affirm NAEYC’s philosophical approach to early childhood education.

CEC is a discovery-based preschool that offers creative and developmentally appropriate programs that encourage children to explore, discover, and develop problem solving abilities. CEC fosters an environment in which the whole child can be nurtured – socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically. We believe that by accepting and respecting each child’s individual needs all children can develop a passion for life-long learning and the self-confidence needed to succeed.

Our continuing success is founded upon an exceptional staff that is comprised of well-educated and caring early childhood teachers. In addition, a high level of parent participation helps to shape the character and direction of our school, making the CEC one of the very best preschools in San Antonio.
